The Making of Jo's Wedding Ring

I find making wedding rings a joy.  Knowing the ring will be a part of a day to remember, a symbol of love, and something to be treasured for generations to come makes my heart sing.

Imagine I'm singing the happiest song you know, when I was asked to make my friend Jo's wedding band. She has an amazing heirloom engagement ring and needed a plain, yellow gold band for everyday wear.  I would have loved her to be hands on in the designing and making process, however she lives on the other side of the world at the moment.  So thanks to skype we got the designing done.  I made this video for Jo as I know she would have loved to be here for the making too.

I decided to share this with you all to let you in on the process of making a wedding band, a simple ring that's so full of happiness.

Thanks to Caolan for the fabulous photography & of course to Jo for allowing me the honor of creating your ring, all my best wishes for your future with Matt. Sarah

UPDATE:  Congratulations to Matt & Jo who are now a married couple!
