It’s important to get your ring size correct before ordering a ring from our jewellery store – or anywhere else for that matter.
The best way to know your ring size is to be measured by a professional. I can measure you in the local Alexandra area, or see your local jeweller, they should be happy to provide your measurements.
Alternatively, we can send you a reusable Ring Sizer to enable you to accurately measure your ring size at home. See: DIY Multisize Ring Sizer Each kit contains a reusable sizing belt and is 100% refunded when you make your Sarah Simpson Jewellery ring purchase.
If you already know your ring measurement, or need to convert a ring size view our Ring Size Conversion Chart, which includes both US & AUS ring sizes.
To measure from a ring, place the ring flat on a table and use a ruler to measure the internal diameter in mm. Use the above conversion chart to find your size. If the mm diameter is not shown, use the closest, larger size.
NOTES ON SIZING:
The wider the ring the bigger the size will need to be. If measuring from another ring ensure the width is similar.
Finger size changes depending on the time of day and weather. For best results measure your finger size:
- late the day when your fingers are warm (Fingers are smaller in the early morning and when cold)
- Measure the finger size repeatedly over time as sizes do change and this will also eliminate an erroneous reading.
TIPS FOR BUYING RINGS AS A SURPRISE:
Preferably the gift recipient will have left this information in an easy to find place for you! If not you can borrow one of their rings and use the above measuring method. We can always resize the ring for you.
